Production Area Leader - Joined January 1996

"At first I was employed by Parripak as a Production Assistant in what was then quite a small production area. As the company and the production area got bigger I found that I had a good knowledge of how the area is run and I think this is why I was chosen to become firstly an Assistant Team Leader and then Team Leader. Again, as the company continued to grow I found myself in a position where I was needed to take on more responsibility which I was more than happy to do. In 2001, my additional responsibilities led to me being promoted to the position of Area Leader. I was given support not only from my line managers and the managing directors, but in the form of training throughout my time here which has continued up until the present day."

"As Area Leader I am responsible for 30 employees working on various different production lines throughout the factory. Although I am in a position of authority I always make sure that I help on the lines and encourage new employees to use our best practice methods. I have seen many people join the company and feel proud that I have been able to help them develop. "
