"I joined Parripak in May 2004 after arriving from Poland. I started off working as Production Assistant and found that the teamwork and friendliness of the people seemed to make the day fly by. There is a real mixture of people from different backgrounds and age ranges. Although the work is quite tough I think this helps in creating a relaxed atmosphere. After working in Production for 6 months I decided to apply for the position of Dispatch Assistant which was advertised at the company. Although I did not have the required forklift license I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the company were happy to pay for me to take the training at their expense. Once I had completed the course I had a short trial in the transport department and got to know and like the team, Again there is a real mixture of characters which is nice. I now work in the transport department permanently and really enjoy the work we do."

"I was unsure of what to expect coming from another country to settle in the UK, but I have found my experience at Parripak very rewarding. I have been recognised for my hard efforts over short space of time and this has allowed me to progress, something which I hope to do more of in the future. "
